Default question on kit mash schedule

doing my 2nd all grain, first went pretty well, i kept it at 153 degrees and then mashed out around 170 i believe. so my 2nd kit is from northerbrewer and the mash schedule says 153 degrees for 60 min, and 170 for 10 minutes.

do i do both of those THEN mash out, or is the 170 for 10 minute considered the mash out? just a little lost

for refernece its their phat tyre clone, if it matters.

I believe that the 170 at 10 is your mashout. You can calculate how hot of water you need through beersmith and add it at 60 min.

Right, 170F is the mashout.
