Default Pink stains ??

Alright guys, here's a crazy one for you !

Recently after brewing an AG batch, I washed everything except for a bucket that I had carried wort in, and some hoses that I had used to transfer the wort to a carboy..

So the weird thing is, I forgot about them on the porch for a couple of days, and now there are blotchy PINK stains inside the bucket and the hoses ??!?!!! I put a pretty strong bleach solution in them and let them soak, and nothing happened..

Has anyone seen anything like that before ??

Sounds like the pink mold/mildew I get in my shower when I don't clean it like I should. I doubt bleach will actually clean it off. I would try a soak in Oxiclean and lightly clean the inside of the bucket with a sponge or something else that won't scratch the plastic. The hoses may need to be replaced if the Oxiclean doesn't get rid of the stains.
