Default Picture of success

Well here's a pic of my second AG brew. In retrospect I can't believe I made so many mistakes yet it still turned out really good. Its a pale ale with a 10.5 LBS grain bill, (one of which was corn meal). It turned out a bit dry and could use more specialty malts. I built it new years eve and bottled it Jan 23rd.

Since then I've done two lagers a Guinness clone and BM's Outer Limits IPA. Damn its tough being patient.

You will be more patient if you have more beer brewed and aging. You then keep brewing as needed to keep the pipeline full. This does require more containers but once you have them you will have plenty of beer to drink and share.

Fermentor 1: Bill's House Ale II, Fermentor 2: German Helles, Fermentor 3: Bill's Schworzbier (Black Bier)
Tap 1: Bill's House Ale II, Tap 2: German Hefewizen, Tap 3: Nut Brown Ale
Future Brews: Stone IPA Clone, Blonde Ale, Budvar Clone, Newcastle Clone
New toy: Blichmann 27 gallon fermentor

Congrats on Ag brews. What was the recipe for the pale in the pic?

I may not be an expert, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express........ 6 months ago.

It's amazing how resilient the whole process is...somehow it always ends up being beer!
