Default Pickling brass

Is it necessary to pickle your brass pieces on your MLT?

No even using galvanized steel has shown no difference in taste. Don't worry about it

That being said, galvanized has trace lead. Which also can cause cancer. So don't use it. I'd rather use pure copper than brass, as it contains lead also but then again lead free solder (for pure copper sweating) also has lead, no safe answer unless you use stainless (aka expensive as hell) but its your health. Spend the small extra cash now and save hundreds of dollars in medical expensive 40+ years from now

I was drunk when I said all that so its confusing, but stainless is top of the line, so far it has been proven non toxic vs (galvanized, brass, copper/lead free solder). I would stick to it
