Any recommendations on good pH readers? I hate strips, because I can never tell the color. I had a $60 digital one from the homebrew store but i dipped it too far into the mash and now I need a new one. Next time I will extract some mash into a cup and measure the pH from there.

It has a replaceable probe, and works well for how cheap it is.
PH meters are really sensitive to temperature, so be sure to calibrate it and measure samples at the same room temperature.
Also, always use a bit of storage solution on the bulb, then replace the cap. It will make the probe last much longer.
