I just started my partial mash journey in homebrewing.
I noticed that AG recipes call about .5-1# of carapils for body and head.
Is it necessary for me to add that into my grains?
I mash about 7-8# of base grains with about 2-3# of DME.
I guess the real question is:
Does 2-3# of Briess Pil DME has enought carapils?
If not, should I just add the amount that AG recipe calls for?
