despite the beards, carnies shouldn't be making beer: hands smell like cabbages. could create off-flavors when handling the grain.

Retired volunteer firefighter here who brewed with a clean shaven face for 13 years. Grew a goatee soon after we moved to the big city and found out that they don't need volunteers around here. The beer was good before but I think it's a bit better now. Facial hair does seem to help.
