Rooky question do I need to mill my 2 row pale malt?

Yes. You need to mill any whole grains.

Unless you ordered it pre milled or it came from a kit.

Only if you want to make beer with it. Then again, I suppose you don't have to-- but you would only get 10% efficiency.
