What's the point of 1tbs of bron sugar?

JasonToews 11-28-2010 10:19 PM

Just to add to the spices and sweetness.

Yea, just wondering if 1 tsp would be enough for any flavor effect at all. I made the AHS Pillocillo Porter a while ago, and it was almost a pound of brown sugar. I'm not meaning to criticize, just asking. If it turns out good, then who cares right?

Very true. This beer was completely an experiment.

yeah 1 tsp of brown sugar will not be noticeable - it will ferment almost completely out, and with that amount i doubt any detectable sweetness/flavor will show through
