Hi.

Has anyone dry hopped loose in a pressure barrel or any keg/barrel for that matter?

I want to do this for my next brew but wondered if it will block up the exit tube when pouring?

Regards

I have an IPA that i plan to keg up and dry hop in the keg in the next few days. i will be putting the leaf hops in a mesh hop bag that is weighted down with a stainless nut. I plan to use dental floss to tie the bag off and suspend it in the middle of the keg.

I think loose leaf or pellet hops in the keg would create multiple problems. Hop particles in the finished beer and almost certainly a clogged pickup tube.

Thanks Pal. Very quick to reply. Very helpful. I will do what you are doing. Cheers again.
