Default Looking for a Malty ESB/Amber

So while all my primaries are full, I would like to plan/find my next brew.

I'm looking for a fairly malty ESB. Maybe close to an Alaskan brewing co.'s Amber?

Anyone have any recommendations ?

bump, planning an ESB for this weekend as well. I'm shooting for 1060 to 1065 range for OG, and I'm planning on oaking it in the secondary.

I just planned out an ESB recipe to brew this weekend, looks good to me:

Suggestions for simple ESB recipe

Recipe Specifications

Batch Size: 5.00 gal
Boil Size: 6.41 gal
Estimated OG: 1.057 SG
Estimated Color: 12.6 SRM
Estimated IBU: 37.3 IBU
Brewhouse Efficiency: 70.00 %

Ingredients:

9 lbs Pale Malt, Maris Otter
1 lbs Victory Malt
12.0 oz UK Crystal Malt - 30-35L
4.0 oz UK Crystal Malt -150L
1.50 oz Williamette [5.50 %] (60 min)
0.75 oz Williamette [5.50 %] (20 min)
0.75 oz Williamette [5.50 %] (0 min)

1 Pkgs SafAle English Ale (DCL Yeast #S-04) Yeast-Ale


Mash Temp 152.0 F

Boil Time: 60 min Equipment: Brew Pot (15 Gal) and Igloo/Gott Cooler (10 Gal)

Alaskan Amber is more like an Alt than an amber. Ever made an Alt?

I like the suggestions above.

I haven't made an Altbier before. I'll look into Alt's. I like the Alaskan Amber but would like a bit more IBU's
