Default How will this turn out?

What do you think of this pale ale? Really a Canadian/American Pale ale as it uses a little bit of both...

CDN Prairie Malt SRM 10.00 lbs (2 srm)
Crystal 45L 0.5 lbs
Munich .25

Mash 154F for 60
Boil 90min
Mash-out 10min @ 168F

Northern Brewer 1.00 oz 8.0AA 60min
Cascade .25 oz 5.1 10min
Cascade .25 oz 5.1 5min
Irish moss 1tsp 15min

Yeast Burton WPL023 (Couldnt get WLP001)

SRM 10
IBU 28
OG 1.050 (yes my BE is usually around 65-70%

Cheers,

I'd like to see more hops, especially the late addition hops. Kick 'em up closer to 1 oz, and dry hop this baby with some Cascade.

The grain bill looks about right.

Cool.. ya I did that before as shown below, but figured I would go the other way to see how it liked it. Glad to hear the grain bill looked good... thanks for the info

Northern Brewer .75 5.5AA 60min
Cascade 1.00 5.5AA 15min
Cascade 1.00 5.5AA 5min
Kent Goldings .50 5.5AA 0 (Had some kicking around and said what the hell)

Cheers

Nothing wrong with an experiment - if you thought it had too much of a hop bite/flavor before, cut 'em back and see what happens. At any rate, skip the Goldings this time.
