Default How long will extract last?

I hate to keep using my weekends to brew beer so I was wondering if I could make my extract on one day during the week and then brew my beer the next. If yes, how long will refrigerated extract last?

I didn't think it was wort until you added the hops. But after I am done mashing I would like to save the wort\extract and do the boil the next day.

I wouldn't, I know you will be boiling and therefor sanitizing but I would worry about and infection and even though the boil would kill everything...I just would worry about off flavors. wort is so sweet, I feel it's asking for growth. If you needed to I'm sure refrigeration would help give you 24-48hrs...
