I had to check to make sure I didn't write this. I'm about ready to bottle a 1.079 Red Ale that was supposed to be 1.065. Ofcourse I mashed high which resulted in a full bodied beer that finished at 1.023 for "only' 7.3% ABV
. I give this some time before sampling
(5 weeks in the fermenters so far).
