Does this recipe look ok? I used Beersmith to convert EdWorts recipe to a P/M L/A recipe.

Also I'm still trying to figure out how to use Beersmith properly. Is there anything I can do get rid of the warning message highlighted in bold above? I have looked throgh all the help topics and can't find anything about it.

I can tell you why it is producing the warning; if you don't pre-heat the mash tun, you have to tell the program how much heat will be lost warming it up.

What I would do is put near boiling water in your tun and stir it slowly until you reach 166F, then put the grain in. That's how I do my mashes.

Looks ok otherwise (took me a bit to find the DME)

Ok that makes sense. I guess the part about "no equipment adjustments made" had me wondering what else I needed to enter into the program. Thanks for the info. Any other tips are appreciated.
