Default Fluff in All Grain (second time)

First, if someone can point me to a prior thread, that would be great.

I've done my second all grain batch, 5# American two-row, 1# flaked corn, ½# carapils and ½# crystal 60. 1 oz Saaz at 60 min, ½ oz Northern Brewer at 10 minutes. Rehydrated Nottingham 5 hours prior in water and table sugar (I know, sacrelidge), got a OG of 1.066.

Looking in the container, I see a fluff that looks like insulation. I know I didn't add anything like that to my wort. Any ideas what it might be?

Oh... pardon my noobishness on all grain

In other words, this is a great thing -- other than the fact it's taken up space in my carboys. I can deal with that.

Could a moderator move this thread to the Beginner's Forum?
