Default First partial mash recipe

I'm going to do my first partial mash tomorrow and would like to see if the recipe I'm planning on using is sound or needs modifications made to it.

3Lb American pale malt
.5Lb 60l crystal malt
.5Lb 40l crystal malt
.25Lb carapils
4Lb light dry malt extract
1oz perle @ 60 min
1oz cascade @ 30 min
.5oz cascade @ 10 min
Yeast WLP051

I plan on using the 2gal cooler method from BYO

Thanks in advance

it's not a cream ale without some flaked corn to lighten the body. some people use sugar as well. check out my recipe, it was AG....this turned out AMAZING...

4 lbs - American 2-Row
2.5 lbs - Pilsener 2-Row
0.5 lbs - Vienna Malt
0.5 lbs - Munich Malt
1 lbs - Flaked Corn
1 lbs - Flake Wheat

1 oz - Hallertau (Bittering - 60 min)
1 oz - Saaz (Aroma - 1 min)

listen to Jamil's podcast, too:

EDIT: I used the Cream Ale blend yeast...WLP080 Cream Ale Yeast Blend

Don't know what style (looks like an APA) you are shooting for, but the recipe will certainly make beer. Perle & Cascades play well together.
