|
|
Hey,
I am finishing my brutus build. I am looking for a GOOD 10 gallon AG recipe to christen this beast. Any suggestions on where to look?

KISS for your first batch, I'd go with Edwort's Haus Pale Ale.
Congrats on finishing up the rig.

WOW both of those look great.
Aside from being my first batch on the Brutus, this will be my first AG batch in over 15 years.
Any info on scaling these to 10 gallon batches and just basic input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again

Download Beersmith. There is a 30 day (I think) Trial version, but it will be the best $21 you've ever spent on brewing equipment. Enter the 5 gallon recipe into your database, then there is a button that will scale it up for you.
Congrats on finishing the build

Ed's Haus Pale is a good standard beer that won't offend anyone. It is easy to brew and very good after a month of conditioning (completely clear and very crisp with nice hop flavor and a pleasing mouthfeel).
Have fun brewing!

BeerTools Pro is supposed to be very good and Mac compatible. Software is a great tool to have and well worth every penny.

BTP on a Mac is ok, but I use BeerAlchemy... It's more "Macish"... Plus the developer is on HBT and can assist w/ any issues you might have.
