After three years of extract brewing, I finally made the jump to all grain in January. It's a longer brew day, but I found it to be more enjoyable. I tasted the first one yesterday, an American Amber, and it was great. It's a cool feeling to know that the ale was brewed from scratch. Many thanks to the experienced brewers on this forum, as you folks were the major source of my information. Now for the next batch.:tank:

Nice - congratulations.

All-grain is very cool based on the fact you crafted the beer from scratch from start to finish. But brewing all-grain has made me think a lot about brewing 75% of my beers with extract simply because of the time specialty grain/extract brews take.
