Default Feeding The Horses

Long story short my cousin has 2 horses that enjoy eating grain that has been mashed. However due to conflicting schedules I can't always get the grain to her right after I'm done with it. Does anyone else get rid of their spent grain this way? How long after mash is the grain still good for the horses to consume before it goes bad?

I refrigerate my spent grain and give it to my friends....for their chickens. Never even thought about giving to the horses....maybe I'll see if they enjoy it.

I usually have to wait a few days to give it to them. I think it will keep for awhile if kept refrigerated.....at least a week?
