I did my second all grain batch today and had a preboil gravity of 1.041 with 9.25 gallon volume. Post boil was 1.056. Grain bill was just over 11lbs and total water was 10.45 gallons. Beersmith says I had a mash efficiency of 97% and a brew house efficiency of 80%. What is the difference between these two numbers? Which is my "real" efficiency?
