Recipes 

I drain my electric keggle via gravity through a counterflow. I am gearing up my oktoberfest brew tomorrow and its been a while since i brewed so I filled up the keggle with 6.5 gallons of water and timed the drain. 28 minutes....thats water, no trub to clog my bazooka and slow it down even more. Is this normal?

If the vertical drop isn't very far, then it's going to drain slow since it's passing through a lot of tubing (resistance). If you can raise your kettle so that there's more of a drop, then there will be more suction on the siphon and it will drain faster.

In addition to the the hops and break material, the viscosity of the wort will slow things down a bit.
I place the kettle on a footstool on the kitchen counter, the chiller on a bar stool, and the carboy on the floor. It drains in about 14 minutes.
As Lil' Sparky said, longer hoses and smaller drop will slow things down.
