Default Do Hops and Grain in Vacuum-seals need freezing?

Hey guys-

Running out of room in the freezer.. got several bags of food-saver vacuum-sealed hops and grains.. A pound here, an ounce there.. Thus far they've been in the freezer (never more than a few weeks).. Do grains and hops in this type of packaging need to be frozen? Or can I store them at room temp?

I would keep the hops in the freezer because the oils that are responsible for the aroma and flavor are highly volatile.

Grain isn't a problem, as long as it isn't crushed yet you can just store it in an airtight container and not worry. I put mine in plastic buckets lined with a trash bag.

The grain in the vac bags can be kept pretty much anywhere so long as it's dark and relatively cool (room temp or below). The hops should be kept in the freezer, even if vac bagged.
