Default Cooler conversion

I decided to switch to All Grain.

I bought a new cooler, and after 15 minutes of cutting, hacking, yanking, busting my fingers, .... I managed to cut the old valve off the cooler.

Upon examining the old valve pieces, I discovered it is threaded and just screws off. DOHH !!!

I think this is an example case of: 'do it first, ...then read the directions later' thing.

Ok, put down the power tools and step back! Nobody needs to get hurt here, just calm down and relax.

I started out doing the same until I noticed it turned.
