Default Clone Brews

So I bought Clone Brews 2nd edition, when I was reviewing the AG section of the recipes I noticed that almost all of the recipes call for a 90 min. mash AND a 90 min. boil.....????? Even the Dogfish 60 recipe!!! WTF???

I never bought any, but the AG kits that my local sells all call for a 90 minute boil too. The only time I ever do a 90 is when using Pils. <shrug> To tell you the truth, I'm not even sure it's needed, but that's always repeated as gospel (like a lot of things on the brewing forums).
