Default changing recipe volume

I have a recipe that I want to try today, but it is for 11 gal. and I want to do 5.5 gal. I know that I just cut the grain bill in half. Do hop additions work the same or is there a calculator for proper amounts of hops?

If you send me the recipie I can load it into beersmith for you and convert it. BeerSmith is a GREAT program and may be worth looking into. They have a full functioning trial download.

And yes....hop additions woould have to be adjusted scaling down.

Any good beer program is highly recommended. I use BeerTools Pro and love it.
