So I had this in my primary for about a week...a day or so after I added the yeast I had bubbling for maybe one day..then it stopped hasn't bubbled since. Today I moved it to the secondary and at the very end(some trub mixed in) i took the FG and it showed up at about 1.05 or so. The yeast I used did say best by January 2007, so maybe it was dead, but if so what was bubbling? Suggestions? Should I go buy some yeast from the store and just put it in the carboy?
