Default BM's Litehaus Wheat change

I was trying to buy everything for the Litehaus ale today, but my LHBS didnt' have everything.

I got the 2-Row, White wheat, and hops... but they didn't keep any Flaked Wheat or Honey Maltin stock.

The guy suggest that Flaked Wheat is for body and cloudiness, so Flaked Oats could be used, and added towards the end of the mash.

Instead of honey malt I got Crystal 20L.

Also, I am going to be doing a 5G batch, so I just cut the grain bill in half. How does this sound?

I've never made an AG wheat (that turned out good... see other post) so I am quite curious.

Cutting in half is the right way to go.

As for your subs......Oats for wheat is ok, I guess. Only thing is there really isn't a sub for honey malt
