If the weekend goes as planned, I want to start my third AG
brew. I have the ingredients for a Belgian Wit, but have been
thinking about how to have some fun with it at bottling.
I ordered a bottle of blueberry extract and thought about
adding a small amount of blue food coloring just for kicks,
but I figure if I really want to do things naturally, it might
be a better idea to use real blueberries.
I have read these pages for a long time and notice that many
of you suggest buying/freezing/thawing/crushing/straining
fruit in order to get the fruit flavoring.
How many blueberries would you suggest I use in order to get
a blueberry taste/color without overdoing either one? Would I
be ok to add the fresh blueberry at bottling like an extract or
would you recommend a secondary?
Thanks in advance!!
