Beer recipe?
I was going to brew Biermunchers centennial blonde but apparently centennials are out for the rest of the year. So, I decided to play with the recipe a little. Does this look like it will be good? Is there something I should change?

That will work just fine, Centennials are Cascades on Steroids pretty much. That looks like it will be a good brew.

I'm pretty excited. Hope it's as good or better than my tart citrus hef I been drinking for almost a month now.

Looks like a great HOT weather lawnmower beer, A little light for me, but then if it's hot outside, I'm underwater or in freezing AC. Otherwise I love those hops.
Cascade are a distant memory for me, I can't wait for the next time they become available to us nobodies. |
I'm guessing that by the end of winter/beginning of spring we are going to be feeling the hop shortage really badly. I really don't care for the hop shortage much because I could have planted some first years if I had gotten some rhizomes a little quicker. Even though first years will only give you a small fraction of cones even a few ounces would get us through the dead months.

you may want to just try all cascade. I ran into this same problem a while back, but the all cascade was still pretty good. Although I can say that I have played around with this one, and still nothing comes out as good as the original recipe. BM did a great job with this one.
