Default Barley Crusher and Wheat question

I have read that some people will mill wheat malt twice, once by itself and then again with the base malts. I mill my grain with a BC with the factory settings. Does any one else do this and do you think it works out better that just milling the grain bill all together?

I mill wheat at my standard gap of .036 with no problems and just fine efficiency. Keep in mind also that your "factory setting" may or may not be .039 as people assume. I checked mine when I got it and even with the arrows in the 'up' position, one side was at .039 and the other was at .036.

Use a set of feeler gauges. Easiest to find at any auto parts store.
