Amber ale suggestions

I am looking at starting AG by the BIAB method
next week (once my missus has made me a biab bag!)
Can anyone suggest a good-bodied, simple amber ale recipe please. I am looking at making a 2.5 gallon batch as my kettle is only 7 gallons.
Thanks.

Here's a fairly simple one I'm going to make soon. www.homebrewtalk.com/f66/caramel-amber-ale-167880/
Trickiest part will be making the caramel.

Here's a clone I did of Bell's Amber. I'll be making it this weekend!
80% Eff, 5.5 gallon batch
9lbs 2-row
1lb munich
1lb C40
1lb C90

1/2 oz cascade 60m
1/2 oz fuggles 60m
1/2 oz cascade 20m
1/2 oz fuggles 20m
1/2 oz cascade 1m
1/2 oz fuggles 1m

I use WLP090 but WLP001 or US-05 would work fine too.
OG 1.059, FG 1.015 mash around 154. 31 IBU

I really enjoyed this amber I brewed.

http://hobsonbrew.blogspot.com/2009/05/early-morning-amber.html?m=1

Grain -
9lbs Pale Malt
1lb Munich Malt
1lb Crystal 40 (I may have accidentally gotten 60 when I was at the LHBS)
1lb Crystal 80

Hop Schedule -
0.7oz Centennial First Wort Hop
0.6oz Centennial 20 minutes
0.2oz Centennial 5 minutes
o.5oz Centennial 0 minutes

Yeast -
Safale US-05

It ended up being very nice and one of my favorite brews.

Yeah I noticed how similar it was after posting it. I brewed that beer for the first time about four years ago. Still one of my faves.

Well, Bell's is pretty popular. I'm sure the beer would be great with Centennial.

I've never had a Bell's. I might have to hunt one down.

Good luck. They don't distribute anywhere near California. You'll have to travel to get it.
