Default Adding hot water

On a recent brew day my mash temp dropped 4 degC in the first 30 minutes. Ive figured out the reason for the drop but what I need to know is - is it OK to add boiling water at this late stage in the mash to raise the temp ?

Of course it is best to mash at the proper temperature, but if things go south, nothing wrong w/ making corrections. Problem is after 30 minutes, the story is likely over and done.

Better luck next time.
