2nd All Grain Batch in the Carboy
I did my 2nd all grain brew today - it went really smooth and since I went on top of the cake from the batch I just transferred, it started fermenting in about 15 minutes. I pulled off about 2 cups of the yeast and have that in a mason jar in my keg fridge, just waiting for the 3rd brew coming up soon.

I did a HG IPA today. 15+ lbs of grain for a 5 gallon batch, and a pretty aggressive hop schedule.

Here's a pic of the "fermentation room" lol. :rockin:

This site rocks! I have learned a lot cool things from all you brewers!

Later, and enjoy a homebrew today! :mug:

Looking good. Nice blow off tube BTW. I assume it is loosely assembled so it can be cleaned?

Thanks for the reply... yes the blow off tube is loosely assembled - It is airtight and allows krausen to blow off and you end up a little cleaner at transfer time IMHO.

Here is a video of the fermentation at 2.5 hours! Man that yeast is makin' the Magic Happen!!! :ban:
