Started at noon and I'm just now pitching yeast (8:30pm) . $30 in hops, $20 in water, $20 grain and 8 hours labor, this better be one hell of a Bohemian Pils. I coulda bought 4 cases of Pilsner Urquell. I must be crazy. Maybe I'll try a triple decocted Octoberfest next weekend.
Decoction went well, I came out a little low on my infusion temp after the first decoction but I had some boiling water on stand by to bring it up. I was slightly low on my Mash out infusion also. Next time I'll adjust the volumes of the decoctions to help hit my temps.
