Where to buy Stout faucet / Nitro Tank / Regulator
|
|
Where is the best current place to buy a nitro set up? Wife's b'day is coming up and this is what she wants, keeps reminding me that the date is soon. What make of faucet is the best, does it matter? I know some can be used as a standard faucet by removing the restricter disk as well.

If you search ebay for "Guinness handle" or "Guinness tap", you should be able to find the stout faucet a lot cheaper.

Looks like a weird faucet handle mounting piece, like on THIS one. Anyone using one like this, work well? I definitely do not want a Guinness handle for my nitro tap.

I have the same one. You can buy the replacement part to put another handle on, but it isn't cheap. Some people have cut the Guinness handle off at the base and glued another handle on.

Thanks Chris, I don't mind spending some money, but don't want to throw it away either. I managed to get a tank of beer gas, now I just need the regulator and faucets.

Nope this one is a nitrogen bottle, so it has the female threads. Thanks for the response though and I've ordered from MoreBeer so I'm set.

There are adapters available to be able to use a CO2 regulator on a N2 tank.
