I was picking up some corny kegs today from a CL ad, and when I got there I found that one of the kegs was actually a 5-gallon sankey keg. Are there simple steps for home brewers to clean and re-use these things?
Sanke kegs are all I use, HERE is how to remove the spear, reinstallation is just the opposite. It takes me around 30 seconds to remove the spear and another 30 to reinstall with a small screwdriver and pair of pliers.
