Default Two Pin-Lock Keg Questions

I usually use Ball Lock, but got a bunch of pinlock for free-- here's some basic questions:

Grey/Black -- which one is gas line and which one is beer line?

How do I let air out of these things? All my ball lock tops have a little pull valve on the lid....these things all have spikes that point up but don't seem to have a place to let out pressure.

Grey gas, Black beer. Thats the same on ball and pin lock. Not sure on that pressure, no purge valves?

yeah, doesn't look like it has the purge valves I'm used to on my refurbished ball valve kegs

does it have the standard opening? the 5" oval on top? You could not secure it down all the way then give it a shot of CO2 and purge it for a second then seal it while its purging.

ON pin locks I just disconnect the gas and then push down on the pin (poppit valve) right in the middle of the gas post to purge.

I have a spare quick connect for the gas (unconnected) that I use to relieve pressure on my pin locks.
