Is there an adapter to attach metric thread tap handles to a U.S. thread faucet?

Hello:

I am trying to find an adapter to attach metric thread tap handles to U.S. thread faucets.

If no adapter is available, are there other options available to achieve this?

I know the U.S. thread size is 3/8"-16, but what is the thread size of the metric handle?

Thanks for your time and advice. It is greatly appreciated.

What tap handle are you trying to use? Is the metric handle metal or plastic or wood? If it's plastic or metal you can probably just run a 3/8x16 tap into it to cut new threads. If it's metric it's probably 10mm which is slightly smaller than 3/8 so the tap should work fine to cut new threads

I am not sure whether metal or plastic threads, since they have not arrive yet. I only know they are from Europe, so they will be metric.
Thanks so much for the information. It is very helpful.
Thanks again.

Google search for "Tap Handle Metric", it'll take you to a site that sells an adapter for European faucets

Are European tap handle connections smaller or larger than the US standard size?
