Do any of you take apart your kegs when cleaning them. I have 2 pin lock kegs that have been used for soda before I recieved them. Would it be wise to take apart the in/out connection ports apart and clean them before using them or is running oxi-clean then star san through them or at least the out-line sufficent?

I completely disassemble mine for a thorough cleaning every 3rd or 4th use.

What Scallywag said, only completely disassemble and clean the keg each time you use it. Clean it with a good detergent, then sanitize with whatever chemical you prefer.:mug:

Second the clean before each use. Also I replace all o-rings whenever I get a new keg. I am never sure what has and has not been replaced.
