Default syphoning

don't have a syphon any ideas, can I just use a regulare clear hose from home depot if sanitized? Also there are roastes wood chips in my IPA, how do you avoid bottling this?

Yes, it will work if you have no other means. Just don't use your moutn. Fill the hose up with sanitizer (or water if you have to). Dip it in and let the water flow out of the hose. This will start the siphon.

P.S. Buy an auto-siphon.
