So, I got what I believe is a sweet deal on a Continental KC50 keg cooler.
http://www.continentalrefrigerator.com/specsheets/KC.pdf I got it for $200 bucks plus some free dive trips and beer. Anyway, it seemed to be in good working order, cooled quickly, no funny noises. It is, as you can see a bit dirty, and the almost full half barrel (included) of bud light is definitely a stink bomb after sitting hooked up for a year with no refrigeration. The two hundred dollars I spent I really didn't have, so instead of going grocery shopping tomorrow I'm gonna start cleaning it up.
My questions are:
After a year without refrigeration, is cleaning the lines even an option anymore, or should I just count on replacing them?
If so, what's the good stuff?
Does anybody know if these things are electricity pigs?
What's electric condensate?
