Default stout carbonation times

Did a 5 gallon batch of a stout was wondering if any one knew it a thicker beer takes longer or shorter to carbonate. Nothing at the to week mark, but if shaken with thumb over the top it dose shoot so must have a little going so its working haha

How did you prime it?
How much priming agent did you use?
What was your final gravity?

My guess would be 3 weeks at 70F as that is a good rule of thumb regardless of the style. I've had some beer carbonate in 7-10 days and others that take 4-7 weeks, just depends on the beer. Be patient and you will be rewarded!

I can be patient if I know for sure it will be ok. I over analyze everything so just looking for input. One I tried (in bottle 2 weeks) did bot "pssst" when open but I put thumb in bottle shook and it did spray, so its carbonating haha
