While picking up some juice for apfelwein, I noticed these bottles of sparkling cider (for the wife) for $1.50 at Big Lots. after removing the foil, I saw that they take crown caps. I am assuming I could buy a few of these and use them to bottle carb. Is anything wrong with that idea?
I've also used Martinelli's, they bell of my bench capper almost doesn't fit over the wide lip below the cap, but it does enough to get the job done. It's good to know there are others out there, and for a little less money, too.
