Default Source for used 2.5 gallon cornies?

I can't seem to find a decent source for 2.5 gallon cornie kegs anywhere. Only brand new ones, and I am not paying 5 times the price for a 2.5 gallon keg than I did for a 5 gallon keg. Anyone know where I can get some used half-sized cornies?

The 3 gallon kegs seem to be going for about US$65 these days on eBay... what were you thinking you'd like to spend?

Neither can anyone else. Midwest has said that they are looking for a new supplier ever since I've been kegging.

SUCK!

Silly Idea:

Find someone who is good with welding stainless steal, and convert a 5 gallon down to a 3 gallon?

There are very few small cornies around, new or used. Commercial & medical operations seem to use standard cornies or ones that are only a gallon or so. Some people have gone as far as cutting down 5 gallon kegs.
