Default SmAller kegs

Does anyone have a source for reasonable 3 gal kegs, I would love to get two for smaller batches but even eBay is spendy, it looks like I am better off using 5 gal kegs.

It will be cheaper to buy 5 gal kegs anywhere you look. In fact the 2.5 or 3 gal kegs will be at least double the cost.

The reason is that Pepsi, 7Up and Coke all used the 5 gal kegs for soda, and they're widely available. The only real source for the smaller kegs is to buy them new. Occasionally you'll find one used, but because of supply/demand they will cost more than 5 gal kegs.

Yeah, I bought both of mine used. Still, I paid around $60 for one and about $75 for the other. I wanted them for a portable kegerator setup.

And those prices were buying them 4-5 years ago.
