That is chalkboard paint at the top to identify what is on tap at each of the future 4 taps. I still have to relocate the single tap and add 3 additional taps to the front. I just need to purchase the equipment first. I also need to recoat the chalkboard paint. Currently I only have 1 coat of paint on it.

Nice Taps Ratsathome! I love the magnet idea. I originally abandoned the idea of making my taps specific to my brews, since I make something different every time, but this would make it more doable... hmmmm.

Anyway, here are three more shots of mine now, fully functional! I still need to attach a drip tray and a bottle opener, perhaps some decorations. I also eventually upgrade to 3 taps, but thats a ways off. The taps are unfinished as well, those are redwood bases for what I will end up with, still sorting out the logistics of what I want to do. BTW, does anyone know how to get a squirrel to sit completely still on a very small piece of redwood without having to kill it and stuff it? Just asking, no reason.

Here are some more photos.
I cut the bottom off of a styrofoam cooler and mounted a 3" PVC flange to that. The styrofoam is glued to the back side of the drywall.

Finished stage one of the keezer: getting beer flowing. The freezer was free from a friend and my old manager at the bar gave me an older jockey box that I salvaged the spouts and taps from. I've depleted my fun money for the month but the next step is to get corney kegs and the other 2 spouts so I can shift away from commercial kegs. Needs some new paint and then sealed as well but it's a start
