shank length for keezer
This will seem like a stupid question. For a keezer with a 2x4 collar, what shank length should I get? I'm not clear on whether the length listed for a given shank is the total length of the piece or just the length of the span that goes through whatever material you are putting it through.

Allow 1" over the thickness of the collar. The length includes the connectors at both ends.

I forgot to adjust for that when I ordered my kit and have 5 1/8 shanks on three.

When I added 2 more, I got 3 1/8 and they are perfect going through my 2 x 8 collar.

One day, I'll have to change the other 3.
