I know this info is out there but i was wondering, do you guys who have done this just cut your tower hole dead center or did you do the cornstarch trick to locate the lines first?

I didn't even bother with the cornstarch trick. I just drilled dead center and had no problems at all.

I went dead-center too, with no problems. My dad had borrowed my set of hole-saws, so I used an electric scroll saw to cut the circle. Worked fine.

If you leave the door open for a few minutes and touch the top you can feel where the line is it gets pretty hot quickly and you know exactly where it is.

I did the cornstarch thing to be sure - dead center is fine. I cut a 2 3/4" hole.
