All you need to know about installing the sanke spiral rings...you don't need the kegman snap rings! The sanke spirals work very well and are easy to install w/ a little practice.

Nohup...wow I thought it had a process like he rings the Sanke comes with...if this kit is as easy as you say it will be well worth the $...does the ring go right on the tube???

I can't imagine how the Keg man kit compresses the oring??? Likely it works with an old oring...I would return the keg man snap rings and use a pair of pliers to install the sanke spirals.

It's just a different style of retaining ring, so the process is pretty much the same. It doesn't go on the tube, it goes in the same spot as the spiral ring; in between the top of the spear and the lip above it. I bought some of the internal snap ring type thinking they would be easier to use, and at first they are, but only slightly. With a little practice the spiral rings are just as easy to use, and IMO create a more secure connection.

i got the kegman kit installed way easier than using the rings...so glad i bought these...for $50 (25 of them) i have no worries about opening/closing ever again...so glad i spend the $$$...cant wait to start my 1st batch and keg it...
